a few cool links #2

This is quite cool. The aim is to build the world before the little blue man goes off adventuring... You drag and drop the different landmarks which may or may not grow in subsequent turns. Once all landmarks are placed the hero travels around acquiring certain items (if they're there) and defeating the bad guys.

I finished it in around half an hour, give or take.
Definately worth a looksee... Though if you need help i'll post the answer later.

I'm sure the rest of the site is cool too, though i haven't had a chance to explore since the boss is back and i've got work to do... no, really i have got work.

umm, one more thing;
There is a suspisciously large number of hot girls playing WOW.

[edit] as promised, the answer to the grow rpg game. This is the order in which to place everything: House, Forest, Castle, Water, Tower, Rocks, Chest, Stairs

a few cool links

Balance Point... i recommend a high bandwith
Foreign amusing signs I like theGerman one the best teaching us how to pee correctly... its got the bits and everything
I really can't think of a comment...Unfortunatly you must be a member to see a any more of the *ahem*contestants but they certainly bare a resembalance to the computer game character... fanboys dream eh. Kinda like when they found a real life Lara Croft...

I'll take balls for a hundred, regis.

so we lost again, but in our defense i think its the best game we've played all season. Our D was pretty strong and by half time the scores were tied, but by the end they were up by 10 points. They're still unbeaten, which makes me think we played out best since we weren't walked all over, and we're still to win...

Oh yeah, and the way home; the trains stopped working so we had to get the friggin bus. So very late.

anyway, my rant on fashion is forthcoming.

i hate wait

I spent the whole bus trip home rehearsing, in my head, what i would write as soon as i sat down... I walked in the door and promptly forgot everything.

I have this love hate relationship with busses. As my main mode of transport to and from work they're fantastic. Though the fare can get you down their consistancy is a hellovalot better than the damn trains.
The bus trip to work is fine if i get a seat; I'm able to nap or read.
The bus trip home bores me not end. Especially when i finished my book on the trip to work and didn't pack the ipod. I'm left to sit there, for the longest hour trying to ignore everyone else. It'll get worse when the resident drunk guy decides to be your best friend, or the impeccibably dressed lady is shouting down her moblie about her patient who's test results are now advertised for the rest of the bus...

I was expecting to see more people reading the latest Harry Potter... so far the grand total is one person. And that was on the train. When the Da Vinci Code came out every second person was reading it. Every first person was reading every other Dan Brown book. I guess it may take a while for the parents to pry the book out of their kids hands.
I'm waiting for dan to finish his book. Apparently he's only halfway though.

in the beginning...

I find it hard not to write blindly, for fear my sentences won't be understood, my ideas won't be as awe inspiring as they are in my head and I'm sure it could all be worded better... (Even after I've finished I've come back and added more to the post to make me sound more succint...)

So this is my first blog ever. (cheers, fan fare and party-goers are absent)
And this website is where I'll live until I'm capable to host my own.

I'm at work shirking my responsibilities so I can venture into the blog realm... I'm sure my boss isn't as ignorant as i suspect but time will tell.
