In the spirit of giving...
in the spirit of giving; i give you a mini-rant:
I'm going to hurt the next person who decides to change lanes without telling me before hand.
I'm pissed. The number of people on the roads nowadays that decide to swerve between traffic without the little yellow light flashing is monstrous.
The little yellow light? It's called an indicator people. It INDICATES whether your going to cut me off. It gives me a chance to slow the hell down... or speed up.
Even going around corners; people decide to slam on the brakes at the last minute. 'Coz it is so much trouble flicking the indicator on. You know what is so special about the indicator? when you get around the corner IT TURNS ITSELF OFF AGAIN. You turn it on, it turns it self off.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction... basic physics. If you cut me off, without indicating you will get the finger.
In the spirit of giving; i got a new phone.
the Sony Ericsson K608i. Took me a little while to come around to it since i'm picky with what the phone looks like. I've also resolved to learn all the functions of the phone instead of living in a niave limbo about what it can and can't do and how much it will cost me, like i did with my previous phone.
In the spirit of giving; i give you the best program ever created...
now, who likes lego?
who hated it when you're making your masterpiece only to find out you don't have that one vital part... who hated having a limited range of lego to choose from? Who hated it when you needed a blue block and you only had fire-engine red ones?
Well rejoice, your problems have been solved. (If you could only feel my heart race)
Lego.com has released a free download called Lego Digital Designer Software. You download for PC or Mac.
You then install the app which allows to you to build your masterpiece offline. You will never be short of a piece again.
But the fun doesn't stop there; the program allows you to print out the plans, blueprints, isometric instructions. And you will need them. You can then upload your final design and buy the pieces necessary to build it.
At this point i'd like to mention i'm crying with happiness.
[Edit]
i've played around with the lego app. It seems you are limited to the preset sets, about five of them. I can only guess that in the future they'll release more online sets for us to play with. (Since it checks for new blocks everytime you start up i think its an educated guess)
